Maison on the Mount is the perfect location for a holiday rental, in the heart of the leafy country village of Mt Macedon. With a café across the road for great coffee and breakfast, 100 metre walk to the pub for dinner, close to walking tracks, wineries, tourist attractions, nurseries, gardens, and right on the main road for cyclists.
This beautiful two storey French-style home is set on stunning English gardens, with 100 year old evergreen oaks on all 4 sides of the property. Many rare and exotic plants, influenced heavily by Stephen Ryan: blood maples, honeysuckle hedge, extensive English box borders, fruit and olive tree grove. Rebuilt in the 1980’s with Georgian façade, and at this time the home operated as a fine dining restaurant (Da Belle Fleur, then Mistys on the Mount), featuring in cooking shows and used regularly for filming. The property has hosted many famous guests, including Jason Statham.

Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 10am. Rate is for up to 12 guests. $50/night for each additional couch surfer.
